Untitled 2014-1. Marble, maple. March 2014. Ten and a half inches tall. Subtitled "25 Years' War" because this particular block was started around 1989, then abandoned, moving with me from place to place and even spending several years in the garage, where it suffered the ignominy of being used as a step stool to reach the oil filters on the top shelf, before I finally decided to reconsider it and rework it.

Untitled 2012-1. Cocobolo on oak base. Started around 1988? then abandoned. Finished 2012. But I might work on it some more. I don't like working with wood as much as stone, though.
